Circupool SJ-20

It’s turning off and not going on at all, at any level. Left side has red lights but not flashing lights. Going to take apart the cell and clean it, maybe build up.? It’s only 9 days old.

Hold on with the cleaning until others chime in with knowledge of that model. You will easily see any buildup like paste or spackle when you take it apart. If the plates are metal-y looking do not clean them, it strips the oh so important coating. If the time ever does come to clean the cell, knock off what you can with a popsicle stick. The rest will fizz like crazy. Stop and rinse immediately when the bubbles do.

With the high cost of the rare earth minerals, the small savings by getting these 'basic' SWCG's is not worth it. See if Circupool will exchange for another model.

I’m thinking when the pump was running at a lower speed, air or gas got in the cell and the plates were not fully covered by water. I’ll give update later if it starts working.

Update: Cell in the cylinder had calcium deposits and needed to be cleaned. Also the pool filter needed to be cleaned. We had 2 major rain storms this week. Back working again, thanks everyone for the help!

Dee can you post test results ? Something would have to be pretty far askew with the chemistry to foul a 9 day old unit. If nothing changes it will do it again.

Glad it's on for now tho :)
