I know this is a major cause or my water level dropping. If I turn the spa off I don’t lose any water. Builder cut some groves in the bottom but didn’t seem to hep
Much.
Any ideas of something I can glue to the bottom to force the water to drip back on the pool?

Cosmetically might get tricky, not to mention cost. But here's a simple idea .... just minimize the waterfall run time. That waterfall will only drive-up your pH anyway. If you limit the waterfall run time to let's say 30 - 60 min for example, or only when you're actually using it, then that's all the water you'll see fall to that ledge and potentially evaporate. That would be my first choice.

You could try putting a deflector just under the lip of the spillway attached with perhaps caulk. That should allow most of the water to drip down into the water and not backdrip too much beyond that point.

I love watching and hearing it run but I am old school manual valves so when the pump runs it runs :)
I did turn timer from 24 hours to 16 which might help some

What kind of deflector are you thinking? I was thinking about some sort of lip..My bathtub faucet drips backwards and I put a rubber band around it :)

I was thinking something like boat (for boats) edge guard. But really any plastic drip edge should direct most of the water to drip before it wicks back. Actually even some black aluminum roofing drip edge should work.

I was playing around and held a piece of pvc pipe and it didn’t change then noticed it’s also leaking out the side!
Sealed it with a clear silicone and will see if that helps.

PVC pipe would work better if you split it down the middle into 2 halves. As a tube, it would allow water to easily back drain but as a 1/2 circle, most of the water would be shed once it hit the split edge.
