Thanks, @kimkats!lots of brushing and well balanced water should help get rid of it. It may take some time. IF, down the road a month or so, it is still there there is something else you can do but lets see what the brushing and balanced water does for now.
Spray the ducks with a hose or get an inflatable alligator and let it float around. Loud noises will also scare them off. Thanks, @kimkats!
Pool is finally full, wow that took longer than I thought. I clocked 17,050 gallons on the water meter. They are supposed to come get the pool equipment fired up today. We have new ducks visitors that want to make the pool their new home, lol. We had to chase them off a couple of times.
See I would have never thought of that. Thanks, @BigPapaSmurf. Hopefully, the PB crew comes today to get the equipment rolling, and then we can just close the automatic cover. Otherwise, I'll be investing in an inflatable alligatorSpray the ducks with a hose or get an inflatable alligator and let it float around. Loud noises will also scare them off.
Why lower the ph to 7.4? I thought Pool Math suggests 7.8?Is the pool builder controlling the start up? If no CYA your chlorine burns off quickly during the day.
unless it conflicts with your builder, you should add 30 ppm of stabilizer, 3 ppm of FC, and lower your pH to 7.4.
