Looks like rebar close to the surface. Get a strong magnet and see if it will stick to it. The stain can be removed with vitamin C. But it will quickly return.what is this stain on the bottom and how can I get it off?
Yep that is exactly what happened! Hopefully I didn’t mess up my filter putting all this DE into it! I had already ordered new cartridges, just waiting for them to get here! Hoping Monday or Tuesday next week!Do you also have a photo of the front page of your manual? I suspect that the previous owners replaced the filter and kept the wrong manual.
I’ve just been keeping them clean because of how bad my pool was when I started the SLAM process! Green slime filled with tadpoles and mosquitoes!Should not have hurt the cartridges. Your filter is tiny for your pool size, but you really should be able to go several months between cartridge cleanings. My filter is huge for my pool volume, and I clean my cartridges once a year. And could go longer.
What type of filter do u recommend for my pool? If it’s feasible maybe it’s something we can install on the off season.Should not have hurt the cartridges.
