Here are photos of our dig. If anyone has time to take a look and check that would be amazing. I have no clue what I’m looking at. We have a 15’x30’ pool with salt system, cartridge filter and heater.

there is a photo of where some of the PVC is bent and some look like it has a slight almost start of a crimp to it. Is that a concern at all? I have no clue it’s probably completely normal I just want to make sure it’s won’t become a weak point later that can crack once it gets old that those areas.
Thanks I truly appreciate everyone’s feedback. They are inspecting next Tuesday and shooting gunite towards end of week.

I just read you can bend 2” pvc so it seems to be fine. So my concern would be those 3 areas that look slightly crimped or about to be. With it being a smooth circle there’s no issue but are the areas I’m talking about a concern that they are a weak part and could crack there in the future? Attached are the 3 areas circled in red. It could easily be a non concern I just don’t know enough of it to tell if I should say something or not.

It looks to me like they already kinked it and then straightened it back out. It’s your pool and money but I wouldn’t trust it. Plus, that’s just the shortcut your builder took that you noticed. What else has he done (or not done) that could haunt you down the road when he’s long gone?

Properly heated rigid PVC can be bent into curves.

@jimmythegreek what do you think about the bends in post #4?
Yeah the bends don’t concern me just what I’m calling crimps for lack of better terms. I’m sure it’s fine But if it’s not because someone definitely knows it’s not ok I’d like to find out and get it fixed prior to it being covered up.

It's fine to heat bend and actually more money in labor than fittings, better flow characteristics too. I do it all the time on all my builds. Those couple spots dont look great from pics. The pipe will oblong when bent but ahould never be allowed to crimp and then bent back. That's a no no
