My kid is on our local High school swim team. We have two pools in our area where teams practice. One pool was closed today due to high chlorine levels, the other was not.
Just got giggles I had my son grab a water sample and this is what I got. It’s a 6 lane lap pool and I estimate it holds 180,810 gallons.
The smell of chlorine hot you in the face when you got out of the car - some 100 yards away and the pool has a bubble over it. My son said he could taste the chlorine.
I’m sorta wondering if the County ran out of every chem and just threw in a bunch of shock or chlorine.
Would these numbers make sense if it’s a bromine pool? (But the smell!)
