We just had a new roof put on. They replaced all the vents and one is banged up. We view this side from our backyard So we see it a lot. The owner willl be picking up the check today. Would you complain or let it go? It’s hard to see because the sun isn’t up yet sorry.

I cant really see it, but you or your insurance paid for a new vent you you got a banged up one. I would tell them you want it replaced.

It would be no different than if you ordered a bunch of stuff off of Amazon and one item came in dented... you would get them to swap it out.

If it bothers you, you should have it replaced. From an insurance perspective, we had some vents that were dinged up by hail and the insurance company replaced them (along with the roof). I couldn’t even see the dents from the ground, as it was only the tops, but our agent said they were considered damaged once dented. I would apply that same logic to your situation, and even more so since it’s noticeable to you.
