I have a Hayward 48 DE filter that I installed back in 2016. Late last year I started to have cloudy water. I replaced the filter even tho they looked fine to me as well as two of the main valves Gaskets I thought could be the culprit. The slider gasket looked fine so I left it alone.
It’s been 3 months into the season since I last cleaned the filter and the water looks to cloudy with a very faint DE media in the water. Not sure what to else it could. Be. The filter looked not as dirty but I still Cleaned it. I will replace the slider gasket. Is there anything else I should looking for ?
Does this look to be seated correctly ? It won’t budge any further down. Thank you for your feedback.
