So I've had the Intex 14 X42 Ultra Frame pool set up for the past 8 years or so, ( replaced 4 years ago due to faded liner) its been a great pool, never any leaks, upgraded to Intex sand filter and Hayward Skimmer.
So now I want to replace it again due to faded liner, and I find out the 14X42 Ultra frame is discontinued. Only the Prism is available, which I know is not as strong as Ultra Frame. And not sure of its reputation.
I can't really upgrade to the XTR pool because the smallest size is 16X48, and I just don't have the room.
Any other reputable pools I can consider? Like Summer Escapes or Bestway?

OK, how does the Intex Prism compare then to the Ultra Frame ?
Or is there any place I can at least replace the liner for my Ultra Frame? Intex does not even carry it anymore. It is part # 12440EH
When I google that part number, everyone says its out of stock.

We had a 14x42 Summer Escapes(now called Summer Waves) pool for years. I only upgraded to the Intex XTR for the larger size since the kids got bigger. The Summer Escapes/Waves was a good pool once all the upgrades were done(intex sand filter, intex hoses and fixtures, etc.) When we switched to the XTR, we used the thru-wall skimmer from the Summer Escapes on the XTR and it worked fine, like it always had, until the Black Walnut trees from the neighbors yard had a great year and dumped all their leaves in my pool. That clogged up the skimmer(old round type), caused it to collapse and crack. The new Summer WAVES skimmers are built better, it appears, and I was able to help my neighbor adapt his Summer WAVES 14x42 to Intex much easier than my old Summer Escapes was to do. I, personally, would recommend the Summer Waves pool. It will take some adapting to Intex pumps and hoses, but it can be done.

Thanks, but looks like no one has the Summer Waves in stock either. Looks like people are stocking up on these pools fearing they will be home all summer.
I guess I will re-use my Intex pool, it is still functional, no leaks, just a little faded. Glad I did not throw it out last year.
