I am a homeowner with a new 10,000 gallon saltwater jandy truclear system. I want to do it myself. I want to purchase a test kit. I BBC am BM looking at the Lamotte colorq pro 7, Taylor k-2006, Poolmaster 5 way and TF-100. Any recommendations?

Welcome to TFP!

The TF-100 is the gold standard here. Taylor k-2006c is just as good, but more designed for professionals while the TF-100 is aimed at the residential pool. Not a big fan of the Colorq, it isn't nearly as reliable. Poolmaster is missing many of the tests you will need, don't bother with that one.

With a salt system you'll want to consider Taylor k-1766 salt test. It's more accurate than strips and it's always a good idea to have a separate salt test and not rely on the number the SWG is showing.

I have the Taylor test kit, but I think TF Test Kits weren't around at the time. It's very similar to the TF-100. One thing to consider is where you get refills. My experience is that residential pool stores don't carry the refills. Either I go to a commercial pool store or order refills from TF Test Kits.

Also, get the SpeedStir and the Sample Sizer. You'll be happy you did.
