Hello All,
I checked my levels today and disappointed with my results. we have a day of swimming planned. my readings this morning were:

FC - 2
PH 8.0
TA 120
CH 320
CYA - 30 very low

I raised by FC to 7-8 about 2 hours ago.
I added about 30 oz of MA to lower PH

I picked up a gallon of liquid stabilizer to raise the CYA. Pool math says I need to add more then a gallon of this to raise my CYA to 50. Can I add this today before the swimming begins, even with having added MA and LC and if yes, how long should I wait before allowing swimming. Or, should I add the stabilizer tomorrow?

If these were my readings
And IF my water was clear and algae free, I would raise my chlorine up to 7 ppm (depending on your pools typical daily chlorine appetite) and lower pH to 7.5. I personally wouldn’t adjust the CYA .

I guess because I recall reading and I thought that a low FC and CYA and high PH is unsafe. My pool water looks crystal clear and clean and
it's always maintained this clear appearance.

I just paid $40 for the stabilizer. I knew it was expensive and honestly thought I needed to add this to the water to raise CYA. I guess I will save it for future use.
