Time for a new test kit - TFP Kits

I've been using my LaMotte for a while and with the help of this forum, it's been pretty good. The regents are now old and I'm looking to refresh my kit, but it seems it's gotten a little more complicated since the last time I checked! TF-100 TF-Pro TF-Pro SWG Am I missing something? If I...

Help with Aquapure - 144 / No Flow / Fluctuating Temp

Circling back on this thread. 45 days in, my panel showed "No Flow". No error codes, just no flow. Here we go again... 1. Check the filter, pressures good. Cleaned it out. 2. Check the flow right after pump, 60 gpm good. 3. Check the flow downstream right before salt cell, 50 gpm, good. 4...

Help with Aquapure - 144 / No Flow / Fluctuating Temp

Just an update, I started with the sensor first. Purchased online for $100. Plug and play, the entire system started working after that. I then took apart the old sensor to play with it. After stripping the outer insulation I found a break/short on the internal wires. I reconnected the...

Help with Aquapure - 144 / No Flow / Fluctuating Temp

I was able to recalibrate and it reads 2.8 now in test. Added salt, 144 is gone as expected and my salt level is 3.2gpl. Water temp from the water heater read 64F today, but the AquaPure is showing LO and does the temp fluctuation from 35-40 still.

Ok so 2.8 is the calibration bar essentially and use the kit for confirmation. In the previous post it was to use the test kit as the calibration bar

Help with Aquapure - 144 / No Flow / Fluctuating Temp

I did a drain and fill at the end of the season last year. So the majority of the water is new/fresh water from my well.

Help with Aquapure - 144 / No Flow / Fluctuating Temp

The pool was built in 2017 and in operation since then. It runs typically April/May until September/October. No obvious damage. The wiring looks good, no kinks, bends, or rips in the wire insulation. The two metal plates on the sensor are shiny and clean - no discoloration or buildup...

Help with Aquapure - 144 / No Flow / Fluctuating Temp

Thanks James, this is very helpful. What's the * on the 2.8gpl for? I ran the tests as indicated. Salinity read 3.3gpl Pool Temp read 74F H-Temp read 91F The H-Temp is right on, the Pool Temp was 1F off and the Salinity is way off. So based on that it seems I may have a failed board right?

Help with Aquapure - 144 / No Flow / Fluctuating Temp

Just started up the pool and have been running it for about a week now. Most of the pool is in balance except for the salt; which I'm waiting for the temps to climb a little. Right now she fluctuates between 55-65 as the outdoor temps are still low. She's run perfectly fine for several...

    Self-Align Eyeballs Removal

Hi, Does anyone have any advice on how to remove these? The eyeballs themselves unscrewed but I'm left with the self-aligning part that's stuck inside. I'd imagine I have to remove them to complete the winterizing to plug it up.

    Pool Pump Sizing

I took a couple of ranges. The numbers were slightly different from yesterday, but that may be how I'm reading the gauges. Pressure gauge is in 2PSI increments, flow gauge is in 10GPM increments. 1035 RPM (30% Flow) = 10 GPM @ 0 PSI 2070 RPM (60% Flow) = 25 GPM @10 PSI 2415 RPM (70% Flow) =...

    Pool Pump Sizing

So I took the advice and upgraded up instead of down. I went with the Affinity AVSS3 and replaced the impeller with the Jandy 2.7 instead of my current Jandy 2.0 impeller. I also replaced the seals. The VS is significantly more quiet, but I'm not getting the flows I was expecting. At 60%...

Is it too early to open in New Jersey?

Get it from Lowes or Home Depot. Home Depot sells 3 packs of HDX liquid chlorine.
