Another Question. I have a 3 tiered shelf unit. I want to put the intex cartridge pump on the 1st shelf, the SWG on the 2nd shelf and use the 3rd shelf for drinks etc.. next to the pool. Would there be any problems positioning the pumps this way. My new intex pool is filling up right now, hooray.

Help, directions for intex pool says legs should go through sleeve on the inside and another direction that came with the pool says they should go through the outside. Now I am really confused. Also my pool came with no rope and no skimmer, is that normal? Manual that came with the pool says...

One more pic that shows more of the yard, I am replacing the pool with a 16x48 ultra frame. Some relatives will taking the 15x42 blue pool in the pictures.

If pictures came through this is the pool last summer and recently after drained with a lot of muddy rain water in it.

It rained her all weekend, and I learned what part of problem might be. The pool is at the bottom of a hill so all run off goes right for the pool. Thank you for all your advice above I am going to use it. But I am also going to find a way to reroute the run off and put up a retaining wall also.

Wondering which is better? Intex 2,650-Gallon Sand Filter Pump or the Intex 2500 cartridge filter? I was reading the pool school and seems like the sand filters are not necessarily better. Anyone out there with experience with both?

Why not?

Can i just leave the legs of 16x48 ultra frame intex pool on top of the foam or do I have to do the pavers? This stuff feels really thick and strong and I cannot imagine the legs sinking very much on top of the foam.

I have a 15x42 Intex frame pool. I am considering using Pactiv 1/4-in x 50-ft x 4-ft Extruded Polystyrene Insulated Sheathing underneath. I also will sandwich it between tarps. Does this sound ok?
