Good ideas. I think the small local bank might be a good option for us. We built our house a couple of years ago and there's like not much equity just yet, so home equity loan isn't an option. 401K loan is a good consideration also, but I'd like a longer term.

I'm new to the forum and after lurking for a few days decided to join. Seems like a great community of very helpful folks. We don't currently have a pool but are considering one and I'm enjoying scouring these boards for tips and tricks. Keep up the good work - I'm so glad this site exists!
