landscaping coming to prep land- question

How should he measure the right locations to put in the pavers? I have the intex 32 x16 x 52 Ultra. He is going to level the land and put in a layer of sand then I will set up the pool. SO I feel like when I set it up he will have already put the pavers in place and leveled them. any ideas?
