Stamped concrete powder release in pool

Yeah that's all you can do. I had the same problem when they did ours. Vacuum a few times and then clean the filter once it clears up. I have a cartridge filter and had to vacuum and then clean the filter and then vacuum some more because it was so bad. We have a stamped border and it's brushed...

Deciding what swg i should get

You sound like me, (a year later) 😄! I would like to get down to 800rpm but seems like I tried that early on and saw the flow light flickering. That was when I was just getting my feet wet and hadn't figured out how it even worked yet.

Deciding what swg i should get

Duly noted! ;) I could really see the benefit from that if you had a single speed pump. I leave my RJ30+ on about 20% all the time and watch my FC drift up, when it gets close to the upper limit I back it off to 15% and watch it drift down. I have my pump set to run 1200 rpm for 23 hours a day...

Deciding what swg i should get

From what I understand the 60 in RJ60+ refers to 60,000 gallons. You want to have around double what your pool size is so the RJ60+ would be overkill. I have almost the same size pool as you and have a RJ30+ and it is plenty big enough. I leave it set on about 20% most of the time. As for the...

I knew I was Pool Stored when...

I'm another one of the lucky ones. I found this site during the building process and it has been an absolute Godsend. After a year of pool ownership I have never had algae, never had a cloudy pool and never had to slam it. I'm pretty anal about checking my FC during the summer but I'm getting...

We Have a Winner! - TFP Pool of the Month (September 2022); Theme - Pool Toys

We haven't acquired many toys but we are fond of our float we call Toucan. He seems to roam around the pool like he is checking out whatever is going on. It's like he has his own personality.

Got myself a pH meter (Apera PH60)

I think this sounds like a good practice and moving forward I'm going to copy you. I never thought about using something besides the cap for my test water and just leaving the storage solution in the cap. I also started rinsing with distilled water last night.

Got myself a pH meter (Apera PH60)

I also bought the PH60 after struggling to get accurate readings off the comparator. Someone suggested it on here so I ordered one from Amazon and it has been great so far. I have had it for about 3 weeks probably and right out of the box it was spot on with the calibration fluid. I always fill...

Getting pool installed very soon, help me not screw up please?

I should have specified cloudy day and not cloudy water but I think you got it anyway. I did a OCLT last week and it was exactly the same the next morning. I checked it at about 9:30 pm and then again at about 5:00 am. My pool has been "trouble free" so far and I hope to keep it that way! 😬

Getting pool installed very soon, help me not screw up please?

I have not seen the light come on again and have been checking on it for the past few days. I am checking my chlorine every night right around the time it gets dark and it hasn't missed a beat since I have left alone. Matter of fact the FC has been slowly gaining and I think I'll have to cut it...

Getting pool installed very soon, help me not screw up please?

I posted my last reply in my other thread by mistake, whew I’m scatterbrained these days! Anyway here’s what I meant to say on this thread: It seems to be doing well now that I have just left it alone. It seems like the temp actually does work when it's not generating, it’s just the salinity...

Getting pool installed very soon, help me not screw up please?

I checked my manual and I think it is actually installed correctly. I didn't realize that was a flow switch, I figured it was just a sensor for the salt and temp. It seems to be doing well now that I have just left it alone. It seems like the temp actually does work when it's not generating just...

Getting pool installed very soon, help me not screw up please?

My pool is just under 14000 gallons. I'm going to leave it alone for a little bit and see if it will keep generating without me turning it off and back on and if not then I'll drain some water and refill to try to get the salt down. I feel like my FC is a roller coaster right now. I had the SWG...
