    Ecofinish discoloration

We use test strips during the week and take our pool water weekly to the pool store. I started reading up on metal testing kits but saw they were very expensive and maybe not even reliable. If you know of a good place to get one, I'd be interested!

    Ecofinish discoloration

Here is the chlorine we use. And then the stain remover the pool place told us to use in the spa, along with granular chlorine. I am trying to find the paper they gave us but it may have gone in the trash today. They said it registered on the high end of normal for metals and we shouldn't be...

We get them at our local pool store - the brand is The Pool Place.

The vitamin C did remove some of the staining. We use city water. We use tablets put into a chlorinator.

    Ecofinish discoloration

Ecofinish is supposed to be chemically resistant yet we have this happening in just our spa where the finish isn't even a year old, and we haven't been in it for months. The chlorine tested high a few weeks ago and wasn't going down so we drained 1/2 and added fresh water. It didn't help...

Does water leaking in always equal water leaking out?

Eric99gt I did see your thread but didn't put together the similarities in our story until I went back and read all your thread. I'll talk to my husband about this too. I can't take much more of this. We are over $40k into repairs on this new pool after firing our PB. EF really knows how to pick...

Does water leaking in always equal water leaking out?

We have had a major leak in our new-ish spa (8 gallons/hour based on our auto-fill meter). When the auto fill is not on, the spa will leak about all the way down. The original PB was fired long ago and other contractors have been in to fix different aspects of what wasn't done. We had a pool...

Pool Remodel leads to leak. Seeking solutions

Our ecofinish spa is still leaking as well. We had a professional come out to look for leaks and he said he found nothing. Then my husband took off the main drain top and you can see water leaking in all around the main drain. They did chip out and replaster around all fittings before redoing...

    Hydrostatic plugs

After our pool was plastered but before the finish was applied, our finish company installed a hydrostatic valve/plug under a drain cover in the shallow end. It isn't flush with the pool so it causes stubbed toes. I'm curious if they are alternative covers that are flush?

    ecoFINISH aquaBRIGHT longterm review

Paradyme is also who we used on this 4th finish attempt. They are coming out today to see if they can resolve the rest of the issues we have. Still looks like a repaired pool even though we had it sandblasted down and plastered. I feel like it should look new after all that. Lots of areas where...
