Which sand filter size do I need for my pool?

Hi My 5 years old cartridge filter died. I want to try a sand filter but I have called several pool places and they recommend from 14" to 26" and anything in between. I am very confused. I have an above ground 3200 gallon (Small but we love it.) What size shall I go for? Thxs a lot Pat

Where do I buy a new filter for my AG pool?

Hi My filter plug fried and trying to open it I broke one of the long screws inside which is unreachable but by a technician. The filter is 4 years old and I never liked it anyway. Do I go to the pool place to buy a new filter? I am afraid to order the wrong one online on my own. Thxs Pat
