Hi

My 5 years old cartridge filter died. I want to try a sand filter but I have called several pool places and they recommend from 14" to 26" and anything in between. I am very confused.
I have an above ground 3200 gallon (Small but we love it.)
What size shall I go for?

Thxs a lot

Hello Pat! Your pool is indeed on the smaller side, so you probably don't need much. In fact, your pool borders on what we call a "seasonable pool". See the link below for more on that. So I would be inclined to keep the filter on the smaller side for you. You also need to ensure the pump you have can support that sand filter to ensure it can move water adequately through the sand. There are some Intex pump/sand filter combos as well you might like. Just a thought.
