    Our Excavation - Hit Rock

We hit rock as well in our build, my builder was amazing to work with and did not charge me anything extra to go 4.5ft deep through rock. :)

Help in Vegas - Spa? Pool? Spool?

I just now started reading your thread and I’m glad your leaning to a pool/spa combo. You asked about the resale of both type and from personal experience I can say, we did not purchase a home because they had only a in ground spa. Don’t get me wrong, it looked great and was very nicely done...

    Sports Pool blues

That’s the same reason my wife wouldn't choose a dark plaster lol. She hates snakes and we live in the county. We went with a light blue plaster so she can see the bottom at “all times” lol. I think it will look great and I’m sure you will be able to see the bottom with the lights on given your...

How much should a faux rock waterfall/slide combo like this run?

When we built ours last year, to do this was an extra 15k. We opted not to as we wanted to stay within a decent budget. We did get a plumbed slide and our Builder said we could add this at a later date since he was running the plumbing for this type of set up.

    Took over my pool

My pool was complete in August of last year and i took over my pool's balancing. I still have almost a full tub full of 3"jumbo tabs from leslie's Pool that i place into a feeder. Once these are gone, i would like to use liquid chlorine but not sure how to go about that, i'll dig into that...

    Typical jump rock size?

Thanks! We are really pleased with how it came out and our builder was great throughout. I can see how getting that delivered would be rough, they brought ours on a flat bed truck, they had 5 or 6 guys move and lift it into place., I wasn’t sure they would be able to move it as far as they did.

    Typical jump rock size?

That looks like a cool rock, I would use it :). The rock we put in was about 5ft long and came to a point. If you search my build, you can see how they installed it. It sticks out about 8-10 inches into the pool.
