Mainly corrosion, gauge is corroding a little and figured more brass between valve and gauge may plug it up quicker. May be a non issue and will just have to use brass. Just thought I’d reach out here before I do anything

We have had normal storms through here but no crazy lightening storms though. I know it doesn’t matter but that is a good point to look at. It is wired to a hot water heater timer but no surge protector. I will check into autopilot as well, never heard of them.
