    OK this might help someone that had the same problem I decided to change the 1" coupling which I only had dry fitted to see if it would work to a 1-1/2" inside coupling. But before I could do this I used a hole saw that was a little smaller than 1-1/2" O.D. pipe size to remove all the threads...

    What I did was use a 1" slip coupling reduced one end with a slight bevel and wedged it into the 1-1/2 just past the broken wall fitting then stuck a short piece of 1" into the other end of 1" coupling . Now creepy crawler works great. So now I am thinking of just epoxying the broken wall...

    I seen this but I was wondering then if a 3/4" suction would still run the creepy crawler vacuum.

    Pool is still filled now! Its just a plain old 1-1/2" PVC female thread to female slip glue joint fitting threaded side flush with pool wall! Pool 33 years old , fitting has been a problem for a while that's why my parents were using the skimmer to run the vacuum instead of this suction...

    Have a pool with a leaking 1-1/2" at the wall fitting. 1-1/2" female threaded to slip PVC fitting. Its the suction side for vacuuming so have been using skimmer instead. My parents had a pool repair guy come out and he used 2 part epoxy which I guess only solved problem a short time and would...
