What does this look like?

This is all need to me, so I'm buying a basket right now. When I have the skimmer basket in, when can I hook up the vaccum? Like do I run the pump for 6 hours and do 4 hours of vacuum and then put the basket back in 2 for hours? I am new to all this and it's not adding up.

Says hayward model sp1070 on the bottom of the cover. So if I have the skimmer basket in, I wouldn't be running the vaccine?

Thanks for the clarification, what type of basket should I get? There are 2 holes in this skimmer well. 1 for the pool vaccum and the other i believe reroutes back to the bottom of the drain?

Just wanted to give TFP folks an update. Went with Pentair Cartridge filter. Pool looks way better. Spent a fortune but definitely feels like it was worth it.
