I was going to replace with Diverter W/ Gasket 272512 or just replace with the Pentair 272531 Hi-Flow Top Valve Assembly. The broken part does not come out.

It is not my pool light leaking. The open pipe is my overflow from the the pool. It is my valve losing water to the backwash. Thanks

I was going to change my diverter after finally figuring out I was leaking water to my backwash, but then I notice a piece below the diverter appears to be broke. Do I need to replace the whole valve or will just replacing the diverter still work? Not sure what this piece is. Thanks

If you are talking about the overflow hole in my original pic? I don't believe it is from that, because my pool loses water below that overflow drain.

I'm confused, is this correct, An open PVC pipe? Water was coming out when the pool was running. I capped it, but why would there be an open PVC pipe?

When I pulled the wires from the light, I put expoxy in the hole behind the light, not sure how good of a job I did. So, there is an exposed open pipe beneath the juction box in the ground that can be capped?

I disconnected my wires to my pool light a couple of years ago and filled the hole with expoxy. It is now leaking into my yard behind the junction box. My question is to permanently seal it, should I dig a hole behind the juction box to cap it or is the leak usally because the pipe is shattered...
