    Draining and refilling is a viable option. I would have to add a few valves to my plumbing so I can reverse flow but that should be easy enough. Thanks for the idea. TCS

    Yeah, sand is an issue but I hope that the wellpoint will, for the most part, take care of that. I do expect to replace pump parts over time.
