Ok the drains are pushing water thank you!!! So is there a certain type of diverter or are they basically all the same?

Ill go out and get in the pool in a few and check to make sure. But it could be a 90 degree. Heck it has to be something...lol because who would put in a pool with drains and not have them plumbed in? I be back within the next hr

Well the hole that is pictured on top is blocked off. I cant get a hose past about 3" then it hits solid.

I do have 2 holes in my skimmer but there is nothing over them. By covering up I just put a plug in the skimmer for a few seconds to check the suction on the drain.

Even slow enough that dye couldn't detect the water movement? This is the reason why I say they aren't draining. Like you say it could still be drawing water.

Ok I have 2 drains in the deep end of my pool but they only drain when I plug up the skimmer is there any way I could have water pulling from both? Or is it just one or the other?

I will have to wait on the proper test kit to arrive. :) - - - Updated - - - All I have is strips to test for my FC and the OTO to test for TC. All on here recommend the taylor2006 kit.

Yes it is clear its not crystal clear but I can see the drains down at the deep end good. Heading to look up the OCLT now
