    Tackling a high CH.

Marty we're 60+ miles apart, of course the fill water is the same or higher temp than the pool, that's life in the desert. :-)

    Tackling a high CH.

Hello everybody, long time since I've posted, we are dealing with a high CH level and any in put would be helpful, draining 80% of the pool is not an option now, I do have a small RO system that I can incorporate into the system to work on lowering the CH level. any in put would be...

Living in the desert with a pool

Sure, just get the pool cleaned and here come another dust storm, this time the cover is off, winds gusting to 40 mph and growing. this is life in the desert. Steve H

should cover be removed during use?

The cover should be of no concern but you do need to run your chemical tests daily to ensure proper levels, with daily use they will need to be monitored if you're not doing that already.

Living in the desert with a pool

Rocco, this is the second dust storm in the last 4 months, even with the solar cover on there is still quite the mess to clean up. Hi Kim, I will be vacuuming the pool in 45 minutes when the timer turns the pump on, the dust was so thick that we could only see the immediate area around the house.
