    Polaris Pressure Cleaner Not Moving

I just had the same situation with my Polaris Quattro P40. New to me having an inground pool so I had no idea how it all worked. But in my case, the wife turned off the booster pump when the kiddos went swimming. I thought she somehow burnt “bobby” (that’s what they named it) up somehow. I then...

    Thanks TFP!

After years of years of owning an 18ft round above ground pool successfully following the TFP liquid chlorine method, we moved. Inheriting a 16x32 inground vinyl pool, that the previous owners let go before moving, using SLAM I was able to rescue it from a dark green to beautiful clear. So thank...

Pump not pumping well, 635T Intex filter

"Is it possible it is air locked? I've been trying to find solutions. I read about backwashing, but I don't think this pump does that, or am I wrong?" That's a cartridge filter, so no, no backwashing. There's a relief valve on top of the filter that you can loosen to let any trapped air...

Do I Need A Need And Larger Pump/Filter

Like previously posted, it won't help with algae necessarily. But, I had an Intex pool for 5 seasons. After the first year, I switched from the 1500gph pump/filter to the 2500gph. Night and day. It helped with circulation, vacuuming, and filter maintenance (larger filter). It's cheap enough...

    Poor circulation, recommendation needed

Forgive me if this is a silly question, but are your just brushing it or are you vacuuming it? If you're just brushing, that sediment probably won't make it to the skimmer and will just resettle overnight on the bottom.
