I was out at the pool today around 4pm and noticed that it was a good angle to see the different shades of our pool color from top to bottom as it got deeper and I tried to snap 3 shots to share it. Unfortunately I need to start a new thread to share them because I've exceeded my allotment on...

Here are two night shots tonight. Unfortunately my camera skills and the way they turned out are not real good. The second shot I took was looking down into the deep end. It sort of looks dimmer than in reality. The first shot I took was to give you a wide shot but it made it look green when in...

We ended up with a cobalt blue. We had the choice of a greenish one, an off white one, one with tan and one called Cobalt blue. We were told to go with the Cobalt if we wanted the blue-est looking water. They said your sight line of the tiles will tend to reflect onto the water surface so it...

No, but I'd be happy to take a few. We're getting the first rain in months here today and possibly for a couple of days. Once it stops, I'll try to snap a few for you.

No, the two drains and all the outlets are all a dark grey color that the builder supplied. We just got lucky in that they blend in pretty well. It was included in our agreement of course to provide these.

That's a moderator that posted his own pool color from Arizona with a google earth picture, not mine.

Short answer, yes. We were given the option for a 2nd bag to be mixed in for an extra $250 and we passed because we didn't want to go overboard. As it stands the shells appear to be about 7 inches apart on average at most, which is plenty for us. They don't jump out unless the sun is at the...

Clever ways to hide pool equipment...

Here is what we did. Look closely at the top photo on the left side of the near shed and you might be able to see a white piece of paper sticking up behind the plantings. Now look at the bottom photo and you'll see the same piece of paper (actually in a zip lock) tucked in next to the electrical...

If you have no sun or much less as in the picture I just added below, then it is lighter like this (almost a teal blue). As the sun comes up overhead it brings out the darker, deeper blue colors and you get the earlier photo colors.
