    Are these algae or stains?

Stains seem to change color with the vitamin. Slowly. Rubbing the vitamin doesn’t erase it, rather it’s a slow fade if I crush one on top of it (or the sock). What would be the couse of action, leave the sock on top of it until gone? (There a many little spots) Can this end up in change of...

    Are these algae or stains?

We recently (about a month or so) remove a wall of 80 feet of hedges (ficus) near the affected area. Also, they’ve been installing a new fence. Fertilize before that I cant be sure as the lawn guy is kind of a free spirit (does the job, but on his time/way/no information).

I’ve got these for a couple of weeks now. It’s only two places in the entire pool surface. Are these stains? If so, course of action? Big thank you!

    Filter "exploited"

Can I use an all wire brush for the algae on new plaster?

    Filter "exploited"

Well, no cartridge in stock around my area. Ended up ordering online. Any concern with running the pump thru the filter without a cartridge until Thursday (will it damage my equipment or piping)? I want to have the water moving to start mixing all the baking soda, acid and cl I'm going to pour.

And pool store has the filter marked-up by 60$ vs what I can find anywhere online...

    Filter "exploited"

Unfortunately I think you are 100% right. Exactly how I feel; exactly what I think it’s happening. Sad that it’s like that. I was already on the verge; just waiting for the clorine to stop false reading to go back to normal business....but then today the filter cartrige exploited/imploded.

    Filter "exploited"

Oh, forgot to mention, I was alto totally skeptical about it. When they came to “inspect” the show me: took me to one of the areas, he applied the powder; inmediately started to react and the whitish came off. Maybe a lucky spot. But after seeying that I had to give it a try...
