    Advice on Replacement Pool Cleaner

    Stay away from the Sand Shark, I had 2 customers purchase them and both broke at the 1 year mark. The better option is The Pool Cleaner. I only recommend TPC or the Navigator depending on the shape of the pool.

    Dye Test and Pebble Tec surface?

    Does anyone know if performing a dye test on a pebble tec surface will cause any staining? Also, anyone know if there is a certain ratio of dye to water to mix in a bottle (test solution little bottle) before you dispense it or do you just put straight food coloring in and dispense in the area...

    Help! Fast please!!!

    The motor does not come with a seal. You usually replace the seal everytime you replace the motor, but you can probably use the old one and just put some lube around it on the seal plate.

    You could get an 8 foot section of pvc and some granular chlorine, pour the chlorine down the pvc over the stain and let the granules settle over the stain and try and brush the following day.

    Fiberglass is delaminating...

    Yes it's fiberglass. I noticed that as well, but thought they may have painted over it at one point... not sure though, the previous occupant is gone and the realtor doesn't know anything about the pool.
