    Anyone with a Jandy Truclear?

It did come with a new cord. Yeah I've heard they aren't repairable and low quality. My pool guy wants to replace it with a Pentair. I'll look into the AquaPure. Thanks for the response.

    Anyone with a Jandy Truclear?

Pool store and then aquacheck strips. The salt is actually higher than it should be...almost 4000.

    Anyone with a Jandy Truclear?

I was getting lo temp/ lol salt error, so I purchased a new cell (temp and salt confirmed fine) because I figured the cell was bad. I'm still receiving the error, so Im wondering if anyone else has had the same issue? I'd like to try anything else I can before I invest in another system...

    ProTeam Polyquat 60 and copper?

Thanks for all of the very helpful info. The black ring comes off easily, but it's just suspect that it happens after adding the PQ60. I have municipal water which tested negatively for copper in the past, but maybe that has changed. I wonder if it's the pool store's method of testing, since...

    ProTeam Polyquat 60 and copper?

No pucks here. The SWG has been keeping the chlorine levels where they need to be, and if not I will dump a little bleach.

    ProTeam Polyquat 60 and copper?

Hi. I've been adding some proteam every few weeks at the advice of the person who services my pool, in an effort to avoid some possible black algae. It seems as though every time I add it, I get a black ring in my skimmers. I also take my water twice monthly to the pool store for a sanity...

Jandy Truclear SWG - low salt/low temp??

The error message went from "low salt/low temp" to "check cell". I noticed the cell had a plate that was cracked in some places, so I purchased a new cell. The errors are gone and it's working well so far. Although, I still can't believe it only lasted 3 years.

Jandy Truclear SWG - low salt/low temp??

Hi, I used the test sticks and also had the pool company confirm. My SWG requests a level of 3000 and mine is showing ~3400. I cleaned the cell and the message cleared for a short period of time, but it is back. I'm starting to think it may be faulty. Thanks for your response.

Jandy Truclear SWG - low salt/low temp??

Hi. I'm receiving a "low salt/low temp" error message on my console. The salt level has been tested and is fine, and the pool is 90 degrees. Wondering if anyone else had has this error? Thanks in advance!

    Possibly Metal stains?

Thank you so much for your advice! I'll give it a try and see what happens

    Possibly Metal stains?

The pool store test results show iron is .1 and copper 0. I had them test my house water and it showed 0 for iron and copper. To try and get rid of the gray spots on the wall, should I try proteam metal magic? My pool chemistry is perfect, my pool water is clear, and I don't want to mess that...

    Possibly Metal stains?

i'm using a Taylor K-2006 to test. When I fill I'm using city water, no well. Seems like I'm draining more than filling with all the rain these days, and no copper algaecides. I'll let you know what I find out from the pool store test tomorrow. Thanks!
