I certainly believe so. There is an O ring on the large screw to hold the leaf basket lid in place. There was no O ring on the lid itself . . . . which has me wondering if there should have been one. I don't see one in the parts list in the manual.

If I turn off the pump and leave the intake valve open, water leaks profusely from around the top of the leaf basket. When the pump is running, I get good velocity for water being pumped back into the pool. I've checked the valves and hoses and they appear to be fine. Here is a link to...

We just installed an Intex 12x24 Ultra Frame pool which came with a combo Sand Filter and Saltwater system. I've got the pool all up and running but there appears to be an issue with the pump that I've been unable to put my finger on. The behavior is the pump appears to almost be breathing...
