    Chemical levels

3ppm in 24 hours in an uncovered pool isn't unusual. 0.8 overnight is within the usual "you're clear" level too. How does the water look, and the CC numbers? If it's crystal clear, and the CC is less than 1, then I'd suggest doing a complete set of tests (CYA, TA, CH, PH) and posting those and...

    Chemical levels

Also - try to be consistent with your testing process. Sample from the same place in the pool, at the same time, in the same way. If you have an SWG - make sure you're not sampling in the direct outwash from a return...you'll possible read higher than the 'overall' level If you use Liquid...

    Circupool Edge 40

This bit right ? Yes - thats what that connector is designed for. The cord goes through the little rubber grommet, and then sits into the little teeth. When you tighten the end-nut, it pushes the grommet into the middle while forcing the teeth to compress in, squeezing the grommet against the...

    Dolphin nautilus cc plus HELP

I'd wait and see who else can chime in, it sounds like the impeller isn't running right or is impeded. Based on similar stories in the past, and a quick web-search, a new motor is about $450, a new cable probably $180. Repair at a 'certified' repair shop probably $300+... At some point, how...

    Dolphin nautilus cc plus HELP

Does it move forward an inch or two, then back and inch or two, then just stop ? If so, that appears to be a fairly common failure mode indicating it's failing its self-test for some reason. Best I know, these aren't really 'repairable' - the motor unit costs almost as much as a new robot...

    Circupool Edge 40

Single biggest way to stop heat loss is a cover. I have a solar cover that based on napkin-math, probably saves me 50-75% of heating costs overnight.

    Circupool Edge 40

Don't overthink it. ;) For me, the SWG and heater will work at about 1800. I add 200 rpm as a 'safety factor' (restriction in the skimmer, dirty filter etc). At 2000 RPM, my new pump pulls about 400w - at 2200, 500w. 500w is about $0.09/hr The old single speed pump ran at 1.7kw - it was costing...

    What is this spigot for?

I think thats coming out, not going in - my guess would be for a hose for cleaning - or maybe to fill up the dog-bowl ? Weird, but I could see how it could be handy to have it if you have no other water source nearby maybe.

    Pool shows no FC

Basically a gallon of your 10% or a gallon of 12% (4ppm or 5ppm respectively) Your stabilizer didn't go away, but 2.5 pounds in 25,000 gallons is only enough to raise it 10ppm or so - and that's well inside the margin of error for the pool store test (heck, even for our testing). Low...

    Pool shows no FC

The best kit for the method here is probably the TF-100 Pro - everything you need, nothing you don't, better value that buying anything at Amazon or the pool store. Will last you the whole season and probably beyond. If you only need the FAS-DPD bit and have plenty of the rest, either the Amazon...
