Thanks will give the puck a try I'm using standard liquid chlorine, should I switch to bleach? Yes after the SLAM I tore down my earth filter and soaked the fingers in muriatic acid/water combo for 24hrs. Rinsed them very good along with everything else.

Did the overnight test last night and FC dropped from 23 to 17. Checked about 9pm then at 5am this morning Starting to think my Algae might have been mustard algae and its still present somewhere. Will bump up the FC today and brush the pool really well again

2 days of SLAMing. Just about there, will do the overnight test tonight. Still see some algae stains in liner. Probably got to jump in and give it a good brushing from inside the pool.

Exactly what we have done the last 12-14 years. After educating myself on TFP I have decided to make the switch to liquid chlorine this year.
