That's the right picture, and that's where I put it. The new sock came with a new clamp. It just doesn't seem to have a way to grab the nipple.

The filter is a Pentair Clean and Clear 150. Those are the parts I ordered. They fit on a nipple at the top of the filter core but there is no lip on the nipple to keep the sock from slipping off. I suspect the pressure is higher on the outside of the sock, so it may not normally blow off, but...
