After cross reference some numbers looks like I have the fiberstar 2008. Inside looks like original except fornthe led lite spliced in after transformer. Possible a fiberstar led lite. Hmmm.

I have no idea the assembly is 15 yrs old and faded. Maybe I should just replace the whole fiber -led kit and get a new transformer and light kit all together. get rid of the fiber optic light tower mess. any suggestions on kits. I guess i would need to know the niche size first.

Since I filled my pool 2 weeks ago CH still at 150. Living in phx water will evaporate a lot which should raise CH. But being new pebble I rather not reckon the surface being low ch. I do have cal hypo hnm.

Correct, my pb did start up chemicals per pool size, acid, stable, chlorine, wasnt enough to do much but after 3 days it was on me, my pb gave me the prbble tec paperwork on what to do. Some pb my friends used did chem for few weeks, but mine just to busy they got pools on waiting list 6 months...

Sounds great thanks for your help. My taylor kit will be my daily and weekly main tests that I will post on tfp. but I also do lab tests just because I can. Just to check stuff out even if its useless.

Im not perfect but I use a 20k $ hach testing machine in a professional lab I can test anything and everything, just sample sits in test bottle for 10 min until I get to work. Or I use taylor kit at home which isnt as accurate as work samples I get I believe. I test million gallon tanks and...
