I plan to replace it soon fairly soon. I'm probably going to buy a sand filter next time, I'm still undecided. There's no danger to me when I turn it on. It's inside a cement enclosure and we have the power switch for it inside our home.
It has kept the pool from turning into a swamp, which was...
Hi All! It's been a while since I posted here. I wanted to share my success story in case it might help somebody out of a bind one day.
Last spring we had to buy a whole new pump and filter system. I was still using the original one that came with our pool and it was time to replace it. I went...
It depends on the size of your pool. Is it a permanent pool, or a small seasonal one? If moisture gets underneath the pool and keeps the wood wet it's going to start decaying. I would recommend putting it on solid ground.
My husband dug a trench all the way around our pool and installed a French drain covered with gravel. Every spring I apply ant and weed granules to prevent problems. We have no drainage problems at all. The gravel doesn't have to be replaced like mulch does.

I haven't seen the server too busy error.
I'm using my...

Hi Luis, congrats on your new pool! I'll answer your questions to the best of my ability. Hopefully someone else will come along and correct me if I'm wrong as I'm not completely familiar with new concrete pools.
You will need to test daily and keep a close eye on your numbers. Actually, it...
The CYA should drop pretty quick, especially with the springtime thunderstorms we get here in the south. It sounds like you're on top of things. Enjoy your sparkling pool this year.
The decision to switch to BBB is one I have never regretted.
Murphy visited me also. I guess I should start by confessing that we didn't winterize the pool this year. We were working really long hours in the fall and it just didn't happen. My hubby decided we would put the leaf cover on and circulate it during the winter. Everything was fine until the...
