Ester Williams Slatted Aluminum Semi-ground didn't survive winters

best guess is frost heave caused a liner leak (or the other way around). Where on the support ie where the panels come together which sits next to the deep end has pushed in. Panels look straight, it's more like what I would guess to be braces? Slipped down the cove over the deepend. I think...

No the patches didn't hold. and I've lost a section of earth around the pool.

cove shift due to leak. There was a small section in the cover before from the last owners liner replacement. Pool is buried 360 degrees.

Buried agp, liner leak. Soil movement under pool. To fix or not to fix is the question

No I won't be keeping it uncovered if it holds water. I'll do my normal closing.

Buried agp, liner leak. Soil movement under pool. To fix or not to fix is the question

Obviously had a liner tear. 2 tears both on wall. 1 about 3.5" high and other about 2'. top one fixed easy. bottom one spans the wall ribs which makes patch tricky. right now I'm not happy with the lower patch. But it's no longer losing water. Going to fill to my closing level and close it up if...

    low voltage string lights

I may be misunderstanding what you are saying. But if you have an AC transformer. That is converting 110 volt AC 110v to 12V DC.

    low voltage string lights

here is a link to 1/2" (13mm) 12 Volt DC rope light. you can order cut to size. It's pricey compared to most other rope light. I use it for the perimeter of my pool. However, I run an off grid 12V system (no risk of a transformer short in the pool). I use a 100 Watt solar panel to keep a...

Propane Grill recommendations requested, good build quality, good value.

I'm currently on the hunt for a new grill I have a Jenn-air 5 Burner (made by nextgrill) that is around 10 years old. It has lifetime warranty on burners and flame tamers. But it just doesn't get a good sear. So far nothing is coming close to the Webber Summit. But man that price :D. I did like...

In pool perimeter Led lighting (12V off grid)

Yeah I know everyone says it's a no no to put led lights in the pool. But that's because the transformer could short and send 120V into the pool. So I went a little different (and much safer route) route. I installed a 100W 12v solar panel and a solar charger. This maintains a 12V deep cell...

    Help me understand my valves

I have these valves on all my lines. This one is for the return line. The side labeled #1 is water line from the pump. #3 is the line to the Pool water return (the eyeball). What are the different Positions used for?
