86 as of this morning and I've run the pump all night. It's going to be super hot today.

I have friends coming over tomorrow and the pool is so hot. The only immediate solution is to dump and refill which I realize will need with the chemistry but I can't think of anything else to do. I have the pump running at night. Any other thoughts?

Thank you all for your help. HowevSo the water is clear but there's staining everywhere and I haven't had this previous years. I can't exactly hold my breath and use and orange peel or a puck to clean this. Is there any other way? Is this iron? HELP!

I have used SLAM before and will shoot for that. One question about the SLAM. With my low CYA levels, 3-5 seems low? Especially with my pool as green ad it is. Is there any danger in shooting for a little higher FC level?

Thanks. I have a mesh cover but I've never seen the pool this green. Almost like the algae stained it. I've been brushing and vacuuming but it's still pretty green. I'm doing the sock method but maybe I'll do what you suggested because it's taking forever to dissolve with the cold water.

Thank you! And even though the water is freezing adding powder CA is better? It won't dissolve as fast?

Is it typical that you have no CYA in the pool at opening? My levels were 30 ppm when I closed. I just opened and my pool is greener than usual and I want to slam but no CYA.
