    Plaster Repair

What is the best white plaster repair product? I have 3 areas that have loosened up and I need to repair them. I plan on emptying the pool in spring and refilling after the repairs are complete.

    TA and Green Water

Just a question. I had a green tint in my water and posted that here. I saw my TA was 180 from a pool store test and they said my Adjusted alkalinity was good (120). In reading things on this forum, They said ignore the adjusted TA, which I did. I lowered my TA with muriatic acid and voila...

    Blackbirds/Grackles

BB gun works the best. Need practice but I'm ahead 9 to 0 vs the birds! They know not to come around anymore. Been 2 years now, no mess.

    Water has greenish tint

This year I used a 40% dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride when I opened the pool. Last year I had an algae problem. It was on the walls of the pool and more like a slime. I used a copper based algaecide then. But like I said, the pool place showed my water had a copper content of .05 ppm...

    Water has greenish tint

I used an algaecide and that caused the debris on the bottom of the pool before I vacuumed it out. I have my own test kit. I'll test the water to see how it compares to the other results. Thanks

    New to SWG

Merged threads - TFP Mod In addition to my previous thread, the water is clear, however it has a greenish teal color to it instead of a blueish color. Any suggestions?

    New to SWG

I've had my pool for 32 years. 24000 gallons, plaster, DE filter. I installed a SWG for my chlorine. I can get all the water settings to correct levels but I'm concerned about the CYA level. I had the water tested. Everything was good except the CYA level. The test said 50 ppm. The store...

    CYA too high

I have a 23,000 gallon inground pool. My stabilizer level is too high, about 100, to slam. Anyone know roughly how much water to drain out to lower the stabilizer level?

    CYA too high

My pool is white plaster (replastered 3 yrs ago). The last 2 years I've had to slam the water with liquid chlorine upon opening. I put 10 gallons of liquid chlorine into pool yes terday afternoon and by 1 pm today I had no FC and had about 1 to 2 TC. Never had to add liquid chlorine prior to...
