    Light niche leak

I wound up opting for repair, crossing fingers it holds. Plan will be to change the niche out when due for resurface within the next few years if it holds

    Light niche leak

Last diagnosis/repair was $475. This time was $400 without repair. I could have paid for their proposed repair with the two service calls thus far, so at least that much makes sense. But what is the life expectancy on one vs the other? They quote a 6mo prorated warranty if I go with the cheaper...

    Light niche leak

I have an 11500 gal plaster pool with SWG. I had a leak last summer around my pool niche that was fixed with epoxy. Hurricane Ian and the high volume influx seems to have aggravated this- I am losing about a 1/4 inch per day. A local leak detection company came to eval today and state a crack...

    Time for resurface? Spa possible?

Thank you that’s great input. I had asked a local pool place and they said there was etching so it was time to consider it. It honestly felt like going to a car dealership and asking if I needed a new car, but I didn’t know where else to start.

Upgrading to swg- time to upgrade panel?

Thanks for help! I admittedly know next to nothing about adding new wiring. I presently only have 4 breakers: one 15A for pool lights, two 20A for filter/pump, one 30A for solar. There is no room for further breaker placement, but it sounds like you guys are suggesting just to add on to one of...

Upgrading to swg- time to upgrade panel?

Basic question: 1) go with 6 breaker subpanel, 2) 6 breaker sub panel with intelliconnect, or 3) go with intellicenter. My pool is 12k gal with an intelliflo i2, solar touch with solar heating array, in-line chlorine. No water features. In distant future, we may consider adding a spa. When I...
