    Pool base on vinyl liner

Have they seen your pool in it's current state? Hard to imagine anyone would try to install a liner on that. Have you had your plumbing pressure tested? I'd be concerned about the main drain since from the pictures it appears you only have one.

10 x 30 Fiberglass or vinyl pools w/ spillover spa?

Does anyone know of a vinyl kit or fiberglass shell manufacturer with these specs? Optimally pool depth would be constant at 3-4'. Thanks, Randy

    Pump Motor Problem

The plug was one pin off for the 115/230 switch. Motor's running fine now. Great website, just keep digging and the answer's here.

    Pump Motor Problem

I replaced my hayward super pump motor with a century motor that has the same specs but the frame is larger. put the ceramic seal on upside down and destroyed the seal, but the motor still acts like it's wired incorrectly. will start and run for a couple seconds and them shuts off. Not sure...

    SLAM question

I can see the drain covers in the deep end, though not clearly. There's a small amount of silty beige or gray along one of the seam lines that clouds up when I brush. The ladder is frozen in the expansion anchors and I can't disassemble, but the outside has been thoroughly cleaned. I'll have...

    SLAM question

Several days later and the chlorine demand during the day isn't decreasing, water is much clearer, but still cloudy. I"ll bring it up to shock level at night and it stays within a 1-2 full points between last test at dark and first test before daylight. By 12 pm the following day and not...

    SLAM question

I wasn't as anal the first couple days as I have been today. Been testing FC every hour, but my concern has been that I'm not getting to the shock level after an hour. It's actually kinda fun, but I can become as fascinated by the process and trying to interpret that information and lose sight...

    SLAM question

I'm working on my third day and have seen improvement in the water clarity, but FC is still inconsistent. My CYA is 40, ph is 7.5, TA 130. I'm adding smaller amounts of chlorine, 40 to 60 ounces, trying to get a shock level of 16. An hour after I add I'm still 1.5 points low of my goal...

    Sandblasted my Pool Deck

Thanks for the input. I've been considering just pumping all the water out of the pool, then cleaning the sand up and the pool at the same time. My concern is the vinyl liner. Not sure how to make sure that the liner goes back into position when refilling.

    Sandblasted my Pool Deck

Sand got in the pool when I sand blasted the sealer off the concrete, nothing else is coming in the pool. Water chemistry is way off, no chlorine, ph is off, no cya, pool has been closed all winter and didn't cover, another story in itself. Didn't think about vacumming to waste, I'll try that...

    Sandblasted my Pool Deck

I've got a lot of really fine silica sand in the pool now, circulating water through the filter creates high pressures after 20 minutes, backwash opens filter back up, but again will only run for 20 minutes or so. Vinyl pool, 4 years old, using bleach as the sanitizer, no other issues other...
