Since our regular chlorine has CYA that's not the issue. In fact, I should probably dump some water and add fresh to bring down the CYA level which is registering as high normal on the strips.

I used 1L (four cups) of liquid chlorine in a 1500L (400 gallon) tub. That brought down the amount of total chlorine and brought up the level of free chlorine.

I purged with Ahhsome last November when I last changed my water. -- Rob
