    Anyone have small yard?

I have a 12" steel pool 6 feet from the house. I was concerned about the water weight 6' from the basement wall but my ground is firm and I have had no problems. What is the possibility of a complete collapse of the pool wall, very unlikely. A leak is not going to flood the basement. 12 feet is...

Since pumps burp the basket out I am surprised there is not a latching system or it should come with a weight

    Filling a pool procedures

    I would plan on 5 to 10 gallons per minute using a garden hose at 50 psi. 24' X 4' = 13590 Gal/7 gal per minute = 1941 minutes/60= 32.35 hours. Water price of $8 per 1000 gallons = $108 to fill it.

Thanks for the advise. I installed the liner and achieved no wrinkles on the walls and 2 small ones on the floor. The vacuum cleaner did work. I tried the vacuum without installing the top rails and it would suck the walls in. I then installed the top rail and turned the vacuum on and off since...

Best Method to prevent Wrinkles in the Vinyl

I have heard using a vacuum cleaner to suck the air out between the steel wall and the liner by passing the hose thru the skimmer opening. You suck the air out then fill the pool with a couple inches of water then you can turn the vacuum off. You then pull the liner sides up to remove the...

Order of gaskets on an above ground Skimmer

The instruction I have with my skimmer would suggest that working from the inside: Front plate-Gasket-Liner-Metal wall-gasket. What I do not understand is why would you place a gasket between the Front plate and the Liner. There could not be a leak there since they are both on the liner side...
