    Check valve orientation

    I was just looking at my plumbing for my pool that was built at the end of last summer. The check valve right before the pump looks to be oriented 90deg from what I would expect. Does this look wrong to anyone? The arrow on the valve is pointed to the right instead of up towards the pump

    Should I be worried about equipment noise?

    New build going on and the original spot for the pool equipment won’t work (too slopes and close to the stream). My yard is sloped and the pool cuts into the slope. On the low side there is a stream, and the high corner puts the equipment well above the water line (5’). Our remaining option...

    Ground water during pool build

    Thanks for all the feedback. Seems like it might not be a problem. I believe the pool builder is installing relief valves in the bottom as well in cases of abnormal pressure build later.

    Ground water during pool build

    Hi, new member here. My pool install is getting underway and I have some ground water questions. When they dug the pool some ground water was encountered in the deep end( 8’ deep pool). It would settle at about 10” or so of water. We kept it pumped out so that it would lead to any wall erosion...
