I connected the wires that were disconnected on the roof and the error no longer appears in the app. Will keep an eye for a few days and see how it goes.

will do. for the time being I ended up getting one from home depot and it seems to be doing the job. there was no leak when i turned it in manually but the actuator doesn’t seem to work from the app when set to solar only. could be because the temperature isn’t warm yet to heat the water.

looks like it was good mistake. one of the o rings was broken. can i replace it with a similar one from home depot or does it have to the exact one from pentair (192039z).

i made a trip to the roof and may have found the issue. in the attached pic the connection from the sensor is broken. maybe i could use a plier and connect it back. interestingly i noticed that the sensor was not attached the pipe. it was always like this but it got me to wonder how it was...
