    Gunite Too Wet for Plaster?

The gunite for our pool has been completed for nearly 3 months. Everything else is done and we are just (not so patiently anymore) waiting on plaster -- French Gray PebbleSheen. They've come out several times and drained the water that has accumulated on the deep end, but the water...

Actually, for our hamster. Of course, I meant feet. Otherwise, we way overpaid. (It's been one of those weeks.)

    Looking for recommendations - Houston

We are in the middle of a build with a very similar style pool in the same part of town. We are putting in a rectangular pool that's about 13" x 24". We met with 3 different pool builders who were all in the $45,000 - $50,000 range, which included saltwater and heater. So I'd guess you may be...

    Pebble Sheen Colors in Houston

The only negative I've heard about the Blue Granite is that it has a lot of gray in it. So steps and shallow areas will have a gray tone, as opposed to a blue tone. I think depending on the tile and coping, that may not be so bad. I think this may be the hardest decision! Let me know what...

    Pebble Sheen Colors in Houston

We've ruled out Blue Surf after seeing it referred to here as Blue Smurf! It looks beautiful from what I can tell, but may be a bit too intense of a blue for what we are looking for! @JJ_Tex - my take is that it's a little deeper of a color than the old Oilers, but still bold!

    Pebble Sheen Colors in Houston

You're right -- the PebbleTec website it really good! We had been using it to help narrow down our selection. It's helpful to hear the Blue Surf is the most popular color. It's close to a lot of the ones we were looking at in the medium blue family.

    Pebble Sheen Colors in Houston

We are in the middle of our new pool construction (gunite is done!) and need to decide on a Pebble Sheen color very quickly. We have scoured the internet for every photo available, but we need to see some in person to get a better idea. Our PB should be sending us some options soon, but in the...

New Pool Build and First Timer from Houston TX
