    Update - my HP started making LOUD screeching sound today. Very, very loud. It is over 2 years since purchase so I do not expect anything good out of this. Going to call AquaPro, will post an update. Happy Canada Day.

    Robins Airman, did you install second return? I have oval 15x30 and dealing with same problem - far corner with ladder gets very poor circulation, lots of dead algae on the bottom.

    Here is my little report: it is installed, I had to run extra wires for HP, existing ones were too small. Pump is running, water from return is noticeably warmer. It +20C day it will warm up the pool by 3C. Not bad. Pros: Great price Quick delivery by Costco (1 week, straight into my garage)...

    14K gallons. 50K pump can use existing wires (I have 3 wires size 12 in a conduit already done) and standard 20amp breaker, also it is smaller that 85K pump. I did not want monster pump next to my pool.

    Thanks, that was my thoughts. When it is low 60's you do not want to swim outside anyway. For me it have to be sunny 70's to think about pool.

    It is humid indeed. Temperatures - In May and Sept it is 50F min, 66F max. June-Aug - 60F min, 80F max (close to Buffalo, NY). I am really looking at using a heat pump in May, June and September. Also, soon we will have variable electricity rates with 5.5c/kW rate on weekends and after 9PM...

    My choice is: 50K BTU for $1,699.99 83K BTU for $2,399.99 112K BTU for $2,699.99 So bigger pump is cheaper per BTU bit much larger and I am afraid noisier. I plan to run it from 9PM Friday to bring temp up by 10 degrees by Saturday 11AM. Will that work?
