    CYA issue after SLAM

The HTH uses the liquid. I’m using a bottle I bought end of last year but exp date is 5/26 so I figured still good. Kept inside at all times except when testing. I wanted the CYA lower anyway, just annoyed I probably over bought chlorine for the SLAM. I’ll use 30 as my level and go from here...

    CYA issue after SLAM

That’s why I thought it should’ve been lower when I did test before I Slammed. About half was replaced so 30 should be my number based on last year’s number, correct? I have the Taylor k-1515 FAS-DPD kit I’m using right now, have the k-2006 on order, I’m using the comparator tube for CYA test...

    Almost there with SLAM!

I haven’t been logging, I’ve just been plugging my fas-dpd results in to figure how many gallons to add then redoing each test. I know I’m close but not there, still have dead algae on the bottom. My little bot just isn’t up to this I’m afraid. My water is pretty darn clear though so soon…soon.

    Almost there with SLAM!

I just had to post because I’m so thrilled! One week and 32 bottles of chlorine later and my overnight FC loss was 1.5 with cc of 0.5 My husband commented last night about how I was burning through chlorine so I can get him off my back soon 🤣.

What to do for slimy bottom before filter/pump hooked up

Hello! First time poster here. I’ve been trolling the forums for many years and “took the plunge” and joined🤣. We have just finished setting up a new 26’x52” intex. It’s been a very slow process (love how the box says 1hr set up). Currently, there is about 1-1/2 feet of water, I’m guessing...
